I help to run the Nourish group every Monday (except Bank holidays) from 10.30am-12.30pm at Cannington URC church (TA5 2HF). You can find out more details by visiting our facebook page here This is a friendly, welcoming group where breastfeeding mums meet to chat over a hot drink and refreshments. Mums can also access breastfeeding support and information if they wish.  Dads, grandparents and older siblings are welcome at the group!

Bowen therapy is a gentle therapy which is suitable for everyone from newborn to the elderly. It can bring relief from a wide range of symptons including back/neck ache, tennis elbow, joint pain, digestive issues, stress and anxiety to name a few. It is also helpful for babies who are colicky, generally unsettled or are having problems breastfeeding. I have many years experience as a breastfeeding counsellor and doula in helping mums and babies – I can offer a joint Bowen treatment for no extra charge –  please visit Somerset Bowen for more information. Here is what a mother recently said about her baby’s experience of Bowen:

I brought my three month old to see Sarah due to her terrible sleep and generally unsettled nature. After two sessions we are down to only one or two wakes in the night and sleeping for a few hours in the day and she is a much happier baby. Sarah was very relaxed and supportive, talking through our birth and subsequent experiences and the impact this could have had. It wasn’t a problem when my daughter spent ages feeding, fell asleep or screamed during our appointments, Sarah was happy to wait until the baby was ready. I would highly recommend trying Bowen treatment with Sarah having seen what a big impact it can have!

I am also available for free telephone and email support – please ring 07815 695 120, or email harcombe.sarah@gmail.com
